Yafit joined the First National team in March 2023, but has been working in the commercial mortgage industry since 2008. Her expertise spans credit risk management/adjudication, underwriting, funding, operations, and team leading.
With her strong background in credit and experience underwriting various asset classes and loan structures, Yafit intuitively draws on insights and precedents to analyze financing opportunities and support decision making. Driven to deliver results, she focuses on mentoring her team in loan underwriting, executing transactions and effective stakeholder engagement. Yafit relies on her varied experience and industry knowledge to tackle challenges by offering a range of potential solutions.
When she’s not adding value for First National borrowers, Yafit enjoys family time at the cottage and planning her next travel adventure.
