Our team
Better people make better lending
We lend billions of dollars to commercial real estate projects every year. But it’s not just capital that distinguishes us. It’s the empowered nature of our workforce. Our advisors are experienced experts whose sole focus is to deliver financing
strategies that enable you to achieve greater success.
Our Better Lending culture – three decades in the making – is built on the skill that comes from pure mortgage lending. Because we start from a position of knowledge about you, your project, and your market, we can design solutions that
are fit for your purpose. And because accountability is in our nature, we meet our commitments.
Better by design, better by nature, better for you in every corner of the country.

Thorough. Approachable. Credible.
“I add value by combining methodical problem solving, diligent file reviews and broad underwriting experience to address client needs with practical perspective and sound advice.”
Robyn joined First National’s commercial team in October 2023. She started in the industry in 2001. Her commercial underwriting experience includes roles at one of the Big Banks, fixed income CMBS and non-bank/private lenders dealing in all types of commercial and multi-family asset classes. For Robyn, details matter and being detailed matters. She manages deals meticulously from underwriting through to closing. Her approachability allows her to build trust and foster open communication with clients, so she can present balanced and informed recommendations based on the needs they share. With more than 20 years in the industry, Robyn has witnessed several economic cycles. Her unique perspective based on experience informs how she advises clients and delivers to meet their goals.
When she’s not adding value for First National borrowers, Robyn treasures time with her twins (Sunday movie extravaganzas, puzzles, baking and family visits), carves out time for road trips in search of the perfect butter tarts and enjoys the local live music scene.
