Jesse joined the First National team in 2013 and has progressed through various roles including servicing, renewals, analyst and now, origination, as part of First National’s west coast expansion.
Jesse was exposed to real estate at an early age, first learning from his architect father who worked for a large national developer. What fascinated him most (and still does) was the diverse number of professionals that contribute to the realization of a real estate vision. His ensuing interest in urban development inspired him to pursue a diploma in Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia.
Based on his immersion in the backend of the business, Jesse offers unique insights about process, deal structuring and execution. He can anticipate issues or obstacles and knows what it takes to mitigate them for efficiency. Jesse’s intention is to combine his operational knowledge with what he learns about borrowers by paying close attention. From there, he can devise strategic solutions that make sense and fit with borrower objectives.
Working at First National, Jesse is grateful to be growing his career in such a supportive environment.
